Cherry Festival at the Hexenwasser
The Hexenwasser in Söll, which has long since become a cult place of pilgrimage for families, is starting an eventful new season with a special focus: the cherry is being courted.
Not just any cherry, but the so-called black Salven cherry, which once came as a wilted branch from Russia to the Hohe Salve (the home mountain of the Hexenwasser) to become native here. In honour of this Salvenkirsche, a colourful cherry festival will be celebrated on Sunday, 10 July 2022. At the festival, however, the Salvenkirsche will not only be spat at, but also picked, eaten, cooked, drunk... and even made walkable.

Guided torchlight walk
Together with Peter we walk in approx. 30 min's to the museum of Ellmau. On the way the kids can walk with Llamas. There you can enjoy a nice atmosphere at the bonfire with music, visit the museum and you can buy local specialities like cheese and honey. The "Ellmauer Koasamandl" will be there too. To walk back home we light the torches.
This tour is exclusively for guests of the region Wilder Kaiser with an accommodation in the towns of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau or Söll. You receive the Wilder Kaiser GuestCard for free upon arrival at your accomodation in the towns of Going, Ellmau, Scheffau, Söll, and will need to show that at any registration. Participation is at your own risk. Free cancellation by Midday at the day of the event. Program changes are possible.
Bergdoktor Mountain Festival
At the Bergdoktor Mountain Festival on 08 September 2022, all visitors have the opportunity to ask the stars around Hans Sigl questions and experience the actors and actresses up close. The varied stage programme has surprises in store every year and provides excellent entertainment.
Overnight guests, day guests, locals as well as those on short notice are cordially invited to spend an unforgettable time with the series actors. Participation in the event is free of charge and without registration. Normal rates and conditions apply for the ascent with the corresponding mountain railway.
