These huts are still open

If you think autumn at the Wilder Kaiser is nothing special, you've obviously never experienced it: clear distant views, dreamlike sunrises and sunsets, mystical foggy atmospheres, colourful deciduous forests, pleasant temperatures, and so much more!
In order to enjoy these wonderful golden days to the full, it is important to know which routes are best and, above all, which huts are still open!
Easy gradients, flat alpine meadows and forests as well as well-maintained paths offer ideal conditions for leisurely hikes in autumn. You will also be rewarded with a wonderful view of the Kaisergebirge mountains on the opposite side of the valley. You can reach the hiking area with the mountain railways in Ellmau, which is only a few minutes' walk from our hotel.
If you are hiking on the SkiWelt side, you have a choice: You will find cosy, traditional alpine huts and mountain restaurants on almost every corner, offering everything from breakfast and snacks to lunch, whatever the connoisseur's heart desires. Opening times often depend on the mountain railway season.
