A1 motorway to Salzburg – exit 297 for Wals via Bad Reichenhall, Lofer and Waidring to St. Johann in Tirol – towards Wörgl
The Kaiserblick is located directly in Ellmau, just follow the road in the direction of the municipal office and up the steep road. After a few metres you will already see the Hotel Das Kaiserblick.
Italy / Switzerland
A12 motorway Innsbruck – Munich – Wörgl Ost exit – towards St. Johann in Tirol. The Kaiserblick is located directly in Ellmau, just follow the road in the direction of the municipal office and up the steep road. After a few metres you will already see the Hotel Das Kaiserblick.
PLEASE NOTE: Vignettes are mandatory on all motorways in Austria. Since December 2019, the route between Kiefersfelden and Kufstein Süd has been exempt from this requirement. In Germany, the motorway service station Kiefersfelden is the last possibility to buy a vignette. Without a vignette you have to expect fines of at least € 120,-!
Note: If you drive on the federal highway from the highway exit Oberaudorf (D) or Kiefersfelden (D) to Kufstein Süd (A), you also do not need a toll sticker and can travel toll-free to the Wilder Kaiser region. However, we advise against this route, as it can lead to extensive traffic jams and delays.

We have been offering car and motorcycle owners an innovative, convenient and contemporary alternative to the adhesive toll road sticker in the form of the digital toll road sticker since 2018.
You can also reach us comfortably from the nearest airport in Innsbruck in about 1 hour and 11 minutes by car. There are other airports available too though.
