Experience culinary delights at the world’s longest dumpling table

The centerpiece of the festival is the 595-meter-long table that stretches right through the center of St. Johann in Tirol. Over 26,000 dumplings in more than 25 different varieties are served by 20 festival vendors—ranging from hearty bacon and bread dumplings to fruity apricot dumplings. For dumpling lovers, this culinary excursion in the Wilder Kaiser region is a true must-see and ranks among the most popular fall events in Tyrol.

Music, Fellowship, and Tyrolean Tradition

In addition to the food, eight live bands set the mood on the main square. Sitting together at the long table fosters a special sense of connection—locals and visitors alike quickly strike up conversations here amid the music and Tyrolean camaraderie. This blend of cuisine and tradition makes the festival one of the most famous traditional festivals in the Kitzbühel Alps St. Johann in Tirol vacation region.
